Alto Social Club
Questions

Good to know.

The things people ask us most about Alto — and honest answers, including the parts we are still working out.

When does Alto Social Club open?

Alto is targeting a Summer 2027 opening in the Lakewood Ranch area of Manatee County, Florida. Dates can move on a project like this, so the best way to know for certain is to leave us your details on the contact page.

Where exactly is Alto located?

Alto is planned for the Lakewood Ranch area of Manatee County, Florida. The exact address will be announced once the site is finalised.

Do I need to be a member to visit?

No. Alto is open to everyone. You can come in for a coffee, sit in the lounge, or book court time without any membership. There is no membership programme at the moment.

Can I come just for the coffee, without playing pickleball?

Yes. Plenty of people will never touch a paddle. The cafe, the lounge and the outdoor seating are open whether you play or not.

How do I book the pickleball court?

The court is reserved by the hour. The booking system and pricing are still being finalised ahead of opening. Get in touch and we will let you know as soon as court time goes live.

Are there pickleball lessons for beginners?

Yes. Private lessons and small-group clinics with an instructor are planned, scheduled mainly during quieter daytime hours. Complete beginners are welcome.

Can I play pickleball at night?

Yes. The court is lit for evening play, so you can get a game in after work rather than only before it.

Is Alto dog friendly?

Yes, in the cafe and lounge areas. Dogs are not permitted on the pickleball court itself.

Is there parking on site?

Yes. Alto will have its own on-site parking.

Can I host a private event at Alto?

Yes. The venue can be booked privately, and the space is designed for gatherings of all kinds. Capacity and pricing are still being worked out. Reach out through the contact page and we will follow up as details firm up.

Is Alto family friendly?

Yes. Alto is built as a place for the whole day and the whole family — coffee and a light kitchen in the morning, play in the afternoon, and a social programme in the evening.
